Every report

Every figure below is transcribed from the laboratory's own document, and every card shows how to pull up the original with that laboratory. Two kinds of report appear here: a lot verification, which tests the very lot printed on the vial, and a reference report, an outside test of the batch the manufacturer made.

PuraCore summary of this report (PDF)
Overview

BPC-157.

In the vial is a single linear chain of fifteen amino acids, glycine at the N terminus and valine at the C terminus. Neither end is capped, and every residue is one of the standard twenty. Positions 3, 4 and 5 are all proline, a run that makes the start of the chain unusually rigid for so short a peptide.

The sequence goes back to the early 1990s and a group at the University of Zagreb. They isolated a larger protein from human gastric juice, called it body protection compound, and characterized only part of it; this stretch is the part later synthesized and cataloged. PuraCore's vials hold material built by solid-phase synthesis alone, with nothing extracted from a natural source.

PuraCore offers no advice on how any material is used, prepared or applied. Deciding whether it fits your research rests with you or your institution.
