Identity, amount and purity
Independent reference report covering manufacturer batch NB20260728. Our supplier attests that the current lot, PB260901-IP10-28AE, was made from this batch; the report does not test that lot itself.
Ipamorelin has five residues, and three of them are not made by any cell: aminoisobutyric acid, D-2-naphthylalanine and D-phenylalanine. The mirror-image D residues and the large naphthyl ring give the chain a shape, and a resistance to breakdown by enzymes, that an all-natural pentapeptide would lack. Its C terminus is an amide.
A Novo Nordisk team first reported it in 1998. It belongs to the growth hormone secretagogue family, a group of small synthetic peptides that were designed on purpose rather than discovered in nature. PuraCore supplies it as freeze-dried powder in a 10 mg vial.
