Every report

Every figure below is transcribed from the laboratory's own document, and every card shows how to pull up the original with that laboratory. Two kinds of report appear here: a lot verification, which tests the very lot printed on the vial, and a reference report, an outside test of the batch the manufacturer made.

Overview

LL-37.

LL-37 takes the shape of a textbook amphipathic helix. Its charged residues line up along one face and its water-avoiding residues along the other, which makes it one of the more interesting structures we carry.

The name is simple arithmetic: L and L for the two leucines at its start, 37 for its length. It is the single cathelicidin encoded in the human genome, freed when the C-terminal end of a larger precursor protein, hCAP18, is cleaved off. The vial holds 5 mg, freeze-dried.
