Every report

Every figure below is transcribed from the laboratory's own document, and every card shows how to pull up the original with that laboratory. Two kinds of report appear here: a lot verification, which tests the very lot printed on the vial, and a reference report, an outside test of the batch the manufacturer made.

Overview

SNAP-8.

Both ends of this eight-residue chain are capped, the N terminus with an acetyl group and the C terminus with an amide, so neither carries a free charge. Its systematic name is acetyl octapeptide-3.

The sequence is modeled on the N-terminal end of SNAP-25, a protein found at nerve terminals, which also supplies the name. It extends a well-known six-residue predecessor by two residues. It ships as a 10 mg freeze-dried cake in a sealed vial.

PuraCore offers no advice on how any material is used, prepared or applied. Deciding whether it fits your research rests with you or your institution.
